Anchor point firing

Here’s a photo of some awesome Anchor Point waves, taken from our terrace!

Taghazout is located some 20 kilometers to the north of Agadir. This charming fishing village is easily accessible by taxi or bus. Taghazout boasts the best waves in Morocco with great Atlantic swells, point breaks, beach breaks, and reef breaks.

Taghazout offers all kinds of waves, from gentle beginner waves to heavy reef breaks for more advanced surfers. The best swells hit the region between November and March. We are located minutes from the most famous surf spots of the south: Killer Point, Anchor Point, Hash Point, Boilers, La Source, Panoramas, and Banana Point.
Taghazout has some of the perfect right-hand pointbreaks you will ever surf. Our area has a wide variety of spots that suit any surfing ability.
The best swells and winds are from mid-September to mid-April. During the rest of the year, strong NW winds are blowing in most spots.

However, it can still be an excellent time for a visit for beginners or surfers looking to dodge the crowds.
